Veteran highlife artist Orlando Julius is dead. The 79-year-old ‘Jagua Nana’ artist was affirmed dead Thursday night.

The death of Orlando Julius’ passing was reported in the early long periods of Friday by his better half, Latoya Ekemode. She said that Julius died in his rest on Thursday night.

“YES, MY HUSBAND PASSED ON LATE LAST NIGHT, THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT DEATH WAS COMING, HE WAS NOT ILL, HE ONLY SLEPT AND DIED IN HIS SLEEP,”

The A dara, a dara’ artist’s passing was additionally affirmed by music promoter, Bimbo Esho.

As indicated by her, she got a message that informed her regarding his passing. She said:

“Bimbo, Daddy Has Passed On… .This was the message I staggered on awakening at precisely 3 am to examine my WhatsApp page. It was a message shipped off me by Orlando Julius’ wonderful and strong spouse Lady Latoya”.

Orlando Julius, a native of Ijebu Ijesha, was taken by the cold hands of death and inhaled his last at 79 years old.

As per his Wiki profile, Julius was brought into the world in 1943 in Ikole, Nigeria to a merchant family during British expansionism. His first melodic instructor was his mom, who might sing and move while he played drums.

Julius, was a saxophonist, vocalist, band pioneer, and musician firmly connected with afrobeat music. A portion of his melodic collections were: Disco Hi-Life, Ololufe, Love, Peace and Happiness; Dance Afrobeat and the sky is the limit from there.
