Kendrick Lamar has declared his hotly anticipated new album, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, which will show up May 13.
The rapper shared the news on Instagram in a letter under his moniker, Oklama, and shared on letterhead for organization pgLang. “The following statement was delivered today by oklama through his organization pgLang at 11 a.m. PT in Los Angeles CA: Album: ‘Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers.’ Release date: 5/13/2022. All verifiable data for this release will come straightforwardly from this source as it were.”
A note at the lower part of the letter added: “Appreciate Your Patience.”
The official announcement of Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers comes a long time after Lamar offered fans a report on the collection last August. In a note posted on his site, Oklama.com, Lamar noticed that the record would be his last with his long-lasting mark, TDE: ” I feel satisfaction to have been a piece of such a social engraving following 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. Furthermore, above all, the Brotherhood. May the Most High keep on involving Top Dawg as a vessel for authentic makers. As I keep on seeking after my life’s calling.”
At that point, Lamar offered no particular insights concerning the record, yet said, “Love, loss, and grief have disturbed my comfort zone, but the glimmers of God speak through my music and family. While the world around me evolves, I reflect on what matters the most. The life in which my words will land next.”
