It seems the exchange between popular journalist Kemi Olunloyo and Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh wouldn’t be ending anytime soon.  Kemi and Tonto have been dragging each other on social media for days now after Kemi publicly chastised Tonto Dikeh for her reaction to the demolition of her ex-lover, Kpokpogri’s Abuja mansion.

In a social media post, following a week-long spat with actress Tonto Dikeh,  investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has called for the removal of Tonto Dikeh as ambassador of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) which is  a law enforcement agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Olunloyo took to her twitter, explaining how Tonto is not fit to represent the National Agency For The Prohibition Of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP) as their ambassador. She said a Nigerian Agency responsible for educating young ladies against human trafficking, sex slavery in other countries should not have a bad role model like Tonto representing them. Speaking further, Olunloyo said Tonto Dikeh has ruined a lot of lives of young ladies as her female fans who are drug users, weed laced Shisha smokers endorse her bad behavior, threats and blackmail.

She wrote:

“A Nigerian Agency responsible for educating young ladies against human trafficking, sex slavery in other countries should NOT have a bad role model like Tonto representing them. She does these things for money and has no genuine interest in trafficked girls.

“Tonto Dikeh has ruined a lot of lives of young ladies. You should see the attitude and demeanor of her female fans. Many are drug users, weed laced Shisha smokers and they endorse her bad behavior, threats and blackmail. I urge @naptipnigeriato REMOVE her as an Ambassador ASAP”.

Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo is a Nigerian journalist, blogger, and activist against gun violence, and a social media personality. She is well known within the Nigerian online community, especially for making highly disputed and controversial claims about subjects with high emotional stakes, such as the End SARS protests in 2020 and the death of a private school student from Lagos. She has also faced heavy criticisms for various claims she has made about her life and career; as many of such claims have been either proven to be false or fabricated.
