Nigerian vocalist, music chief, entertainer, and political, Olubankole Wellington, prominently known as Banky W, has spread the word about it that Global afrobeats genius Wizkid owed E.M.E Records three collections at the time he left the name.
Talking in a meeting with Ebuka on Black Box Interviews, Banky W uncovered not-really clear details that Wizkid had signed a 5 albums deal with EME in the beginning of his career.
Review, Wizkid had delivered his introduction album ‘Starboy’ and his sophomore album ‘Ayo’ while endorsed to E.M.E, a label that has Banky W featured as one of its chiefs. Banky uncovered that it was after the arrival of the two collections that Wizkid left to begin his own outfit ‘Starboy Entertainment’.
Besides, Banky expressed that he comprehended Wizkid expected to leave at the time he needed, henceforth, the label chose to allow him to leave.
